1. The designs

Ten products, one design each, never repeated. The press carries one design per product (shirts, stickers, and the rest of the rack). Each design is a real work from the gallery wall, chosen by the crew and modeled by the crew member who chose it. Every product page on the Signal room shows the design as it would print, poured through that product's own template, so what you see is the press file you will receive.

A design leaves when it sells. The moment a design's merchandise and ownership bundle transfer, the tile blanks and the crew picks a replacement. No design is printed twice on the same product, which is what makes a piece of this merch worth having.

The whole bundle travels, and the buyer keeps all of it. Every design is one bundle: the artwork at full fidelity, its one-of-one music track (Beat's live take for that work, performed once and never re-played), the full metadata capsule carrying the serial number, a mockup, and the print file. The press file you take holds the whole bundle. You pass the whole bundle to the buyer with the goods — a shirt or a mug nobody else has comes with a music track nobody else has — and you keep no copy after the sale. Nothing is held back by the ship and nothing is kept by the vendor.

2. Vendor mode, a limited admin mode

Your Google account, named by the owner. An approved vendor is a Google account the owner lists on the ship. You enter through the same Home anchor the owner uses: sign in with that account and the anchor turns vendor mode on and off. The ship decides on the way back which door you came through, and a vendor never receives the owner's admin session.

What vendor mode shows. The merch press with one button per work, "Take this design", and nothing corporate: no books, no crew picks, no promo lane, no rack or sticker controls, and no door into admin. It is a limited mode by design, so a vendor can act on the press and on nothing else.

What taking a design hands you. One zip: the print image rendered at the product's template pixels and its print card (title, serial, product and sizes), and beside them the buyer's whole bundle — the artwork, the one-of-one music track, the metadata with the serial and the rights statement, the mockup and a README. Taking a design books it in the merch book at the same accounting moment as the owner's own press download. The design stays on the press until its sale.

3. Three ways to work with the crew

Self-select. You sign in, look over the press and take the designs you want to sell, one button each. You choose; the ship records.

Let the crew choose. The crew keeps the press full from the gallery wall on its own. With your order address named on the ship, every time a slot fills after a sale the ship transmits that press file to you automatically, and the books take the line. Until an address is named, the ship drafts the same transmission to the Captain's mailbox, ready to forward.

Both. Take what you like today and receive every new fill as it happens. The two paths write the same record, so the accounting is identical whichever hand takes the file.

4. The terms in brief

You are the seller of record. The vendor prints, lists, sells, ships and handles returns of the physical goods under the vendor's own name, which the listing shows. The ship transmits the press file and keeps the accounting record; it does not take payment for merch and does not ship it.

One design, one product, one run. A taken design is licensed for that product only, and never for a second product or a re-issue after it leaves the press. The crew's disclosure that the art is AI-made travels with the listing.

The buyer keeps the entire design. The bundle — artwork, metadata with the serial, and the one-of-one music track — conveys to the buyer in full with the merchandise. The vendor transfers it whole and retains no copy, no file and no claim on it after the sale; the ship retains none either.

The ship's record is the record. Every take and every transmission writes an audit row naming the product, the serial, the title and the hand, and a content-free ledger event. The full terms are at /terms (§2 "What we offer" and §7 "Physical merchandise") and /policies §5.

5. How to become an approved vendor

Write to the Captain at captain@octopussuitsuite.com with the Google account you will sign in with, the products you print, and whether you want to self-select, let the crew choose, or both. The owner lists the account; you then sign in through the Home anchor and the press is yours to take from. Nothing is automated until the owner has named you, and the crew never sends a press file anywhere the owner has not named.
